  • Perfect getaway

    5/5

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary in Cripple Creek for a long weekend. The place is very clean, updated, cozy and has amazing views! Most of the time, places don’t live up to their pictures and this one exceeded them. They even had a welcome basket with lots of snacks which was much appreciated on our adventures! We recommend doing the Mining tour & train in Cripple Creek. Of course the casinos are a main attraction. Things not to miss nearby are Cave of the Winds (lantern tour was awesome), Pike’s Peak (make sure you also buy the $2 ticket or you can’t go all the way to the top) & Garden of the Gods! Bring your cameras because they are all spectacular views!

  • Very Spacious and Clean Rooms But....

    2/5

My wife and I loved the clean and spacious rooms with the vaulted ceilings. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed. The main problems we had were with the rock-hard couch in the living room which was impossible to sit on for more than 30 minutes and the tiny round bar table with stools with no backs which were Impossible to sit on comfortably for eating or anything else. Our thoughts were why on earth speed all the money and effort in creating a beautiful and spacious interior and skimp on a comfortable couch and dining room table with high-back chairs. When we first arrived, I could not open the garage door to park my car in door due to an incorrect description and keypad code I was given via email. The last keypad code digit called for a question mark symbol which the keypad did not have. I figured out it was supposed to be the check mark symbol. This process took about 15 minutes to resolve and required going up the stairs to check the other keypad combinations I was given for the 2 doors leading to the living room. In total there were 4 keypad codes for the doors with 2 incorrect codes. Very frustrating after driving 12 hours to have to deal with.Lastly, I couldn't get the heat to come on and called the Guest Contacts number and left a message but never received a call back. I did resolve the issue myself, but a simple call back would have saved me a little time and frustration.

They go above and beyond to make you feel at home. They had a bottle of wine and snacks waiting for us. We will definitely be coming back. I already have friends wanting to go and stay
