We were so pleased with our stay at the Fishing Suite! It was relaxing and staying on the Crystal River was just the getaway we needed. The accommodations were exactly as described and though we didn't need anything from the host, it was assuring knowing they were readily available.

My wife and I spent 5 nights here. It was even better than advertised. A cozy yet spacious cabin feel with well-equipped kitchen, nice bathroom, super-comfy king bed, and serene/private river seating a few steps out the back door. Redstone is small but filled with gems. Walk to the General Store where owner Gina welcomes you like a long lost friend. She invited me to play guitar and sing one evening. It was a hoot! She even has a liquor store attached with an incredible selection of stellar beer, wine and spirits. The antique storehouse across the street is more like a museum of amazing artifacts from the old and new west, and has been showcased on PBS. The historic Redstone Inn is filled with western photos and art. The nearby Avalanche Ranch is the best hot springs we've ever visited, including a waterfall that lands on a boulder you can lay on for a back massage. Also take a quick ride to Marble, home of the purest white marble in the US (used for the Lincoln Memorial). Don't miss lunch at the bbq restaurant. Best bbq we've ever eaten. OK. Now I'm running out of superlatives.
Loved this beautiful cabin, the river and the kind community.
First of all I must say that the property manager was excellent and handled all of our issues professionally and made us feel very welcome. This property is just not what it’s build that and is in an extreme state of decay. The street that it is on is lined with beautiful rustic and elegant properties all in the exact same price range. This particular property looked beautiful in the pictures but has too many problems to list but rest assured you should stay away.

Very quiet and peaceful weekend. The property was very clean with a great location next to the river. Definitely would stay here again!
