Peaceful and perfect
4/5 This is a very peaceful, clean and well-stocked place. You can hear the river out the back door. They thought of every little detail as far as coffee, toiletries and everything else you might need. It was also decorated so cutely! And the wi-fi was perfect for working. Would definitely return!

Thumbs up for Angler’s Alibi
4/5 The inside of this place was well done and newly remodeled. The decor was cute, it was clean, and well maintained. Most anything you might need was provided in the event you forgot, but there are plenty of nearby stores to go get necessities. Ping pong and darts were fun activities for our teens. We loved the view of Mt. Princeton out the front door and star gazing at night. We had hoped the river was more easily accessible. There was easy communication and the owner was very responsive. We would visit again!!

Collegiate Loop Hike
5/5 I stayed here while my husband hiked the Collegiate Loop. The studio apartment is very well stocked and centrally located to all the resupply spots on the trail. The owner is especially nice and continually checked to make sure I had everything I needed.
Angler's Alibi is a Hiker's Repose
5/5 I came to Buena Vista to climb several of the 14ers in the Sawatch Range and thoroughly appreciated this bright, clean, comfortable, tastefully furnished studio as a quiet place to return to in the afternoons for rest, recovery and to plan my next day. Everything feels clean and new, and the owner is highly responsive to any needs you might have--though I didn't because everything I needed was there. The sounds of the Arkansas river out the back, with the occasional sounds of happy rafters ads to the experience! It's a short drive to restaurants and the grocery store in Buena Vista and had all the basics of a microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and refrigerator. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!
Anglers Alibi
5/5 We had a really relaxing stay here. The location is convenient, between Buena Vista and Salida, close to rafting, fishing and the numerous hot springs. Private access to the Arkansas River out the back door. House was well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen, bathroom and laundry. The neighborhood was really peaceful and quiet. We would definitely consider a return trip!
