Location was excellent. Walking distance to everything which we loved. The outside hot tub was nice. Condo was older and outdated. Only 2 burners on the stove worked. The windows in one of the bedrooms were duct taped. The sofa sleeper mattress was horrible and could not be slept on. Host was responsive.

Did it work, yes, did we have fun, yeah, but the main photo listing showing that heated pool doesn't exist and is actually a community pool a mile away. There's 2 small hot tubs that worked and got the job done but suggest extending the hours past 10pm. The unit hasn't been updated since 1989, no joke there was a cassette Walkman, and boom box to use! Funny, but what had us real worried was the neighbors below came up and stated the ceiling below our bathroom fell out! The deception continues as VBRO wouldn't disclose the location for several months, and had no way of confirming it was ski-in, which it's not. It's about 50 yards away from the end of four o clock run, but it's NOT ski in!
I wouldn't stay here again, the amount of money spent doesn't equate to the value given. I would suggest those who are happy with this place are friends staying for free or complete idiots and oblivious to their surrounds. Farewell VBRO, y'all tricks are no longer going to be funded by us.

Hi Scott, We're sorry to hear that this condo wasn't what you were looking for. We want each of our guests to find the perfect property for their stay, so we take the accuracy of our listings seriously. Guests can see the decor in the listing photos before they book, and the condo is just a few minute's walk from the chairlift and right across the road from the end of the Four O'Clock ski run. We also state in the description that the indoor and outdoor pools and the hot tubs are community amenities located within the complex, and they are about a block from this unit. In the future, please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns about a property before or after you've booked your stay with us - we're here 24/7 to support our guests! Best, the Evolve Team
The pictures are very accurate to what the condo interior looks like. It is about 300 feet to a bus stop which takes you to Peak 9, Beaver Run in 3 short stops. The walk with gear is very short. Walking downtown is super simple and probably only 3 minutes at a leisurely pace. There are several stairs to navigate to get to the condo but thankfully it isn't on the 3rd floor.

For the price, this was the perfect location for my girls weekend getaway! Conveniently located close to FREE bus stops and walking distance to all the shops and restaurants on Main Street. We rented a car as we flew into Denver and we only used it once during our stay. Otherwise we walked or used the Free Trolly & Bus. It's a great place if you need a crash pad and not spending much time in the room. There is no screen door on the sliding patio door, also no screens on the bedroom windows. Either there was no air condition or it wasn't working because it was HOT in there, it was hard to reach a comfortable temp because we couldn't leave the door open at night. The one bathroom has a moldy shower curtain, mold in and around the broken tiles around the tub. There is carpet throughout the condo, even in the bathrooms (that grosses me out). There were plenty of towels and washcloths which was nice to see. There is a washer and dryer but no laundry detergent. The kitchen and fridge were clean, we only used the coffee cups and coffee pot. The freezer smelled like cleaning solution and the ice cubes reflected that in taste. The beds were a little on the hard side and the pillows are old, flat and stained. There was no blankets other than the bed spreads on each bed and they didn't smell like they had been washed in while. Overall the location is great but the condo itself is in need of a lot of repairs and some TLC. It is terribly outdated, peeling wall paper, rotting wood, moldy shower tiles, and some other cosmetic fixes. The price was perfectly affordable split between 4 of us ladies who would have been crowded in a hotel room. We never needed to contact the property manager but her number is in the book on the table as well as on the lock box so if you happen to delete the email with her info, it's easily accessible. We didn't explore the property, but this specific condo is not a ski-in location. There might be mountain access around the back of the complex but we didn't venture there.

Kristi, we hope you had an enjoyable trip overall! We're sorry to hear about the issues you encountered and have shared your feedback with the homeowner who would like to note that they intend to repair all of your concerns this fall. Additionally, in the winter, you can ski down to this condo on Four O'Clock Run to the back door and walk directly across the entrance. We hope you'll consider traveling with us again! First of all, the property manager Twilla was wonderful and very responsive. The hot water kept going off and on and she was on it and it was fixed the next day. Apparently, the owner cleans the condo. They need a big giant bottle of Tilex or Clorax to clean the mold off the tiles in the shower. Some new wallpaper to replace the peeling wallpaper in the den and bathrooms. They need to do a minor shopping spree to at least has some decent kitchen supplies. How nice a colander would be to wash berries. Some decent knives. A clean sponge for new guests instead of an old one with old food stuck to it. Maybe they should have used that to wipe out the old milk smell in the refrigerator. The main reason I choose this place is the listing said it has air conditioning. It does NOT. I know it is rare to have a/c in CO. I choose this condo because the listing said it has air conditioning. It does not have A/C! Great location to Main Street. They need to either pull this off of rental or suck up and let the property manager clean and supply the condo properly. I would like a refund!
