The deck and the outdoor space is very nice. The view is amazing. Kitchen is well stocked but no ice maker or dishwasher. One small ice tray. I asked about the detached unit and was assured it was one house. However, you have to go outside and walk up stairs to access the 3rd bedroom. Water pressure was extremely poor for the shower in that bedroom. This bedroom has a lot of road noise being next to main road. Another bathroom in the house in a bedroom has no door, just a shower curtain. I would bring my own towels as the ones provided were not absorbent. No shampoo, conditioner and in some cases body soap provided although advertised on listing that it was. Limited and difficult parking if you are bringing a boat.

I really wanted to like this place, but it fell short in so many ways. The wi-fi is almost nonexistent. The TV had all sorts os smart tv options, but they only worked for very short times during the day, then the TV would cut out. Every night after 4 or 5pm it goes out. So if you are planning on using any Amazon, Disney, Netflix, etc, you won't be able to. Just a few Dish channels. We relayed this information to the host everyday but she didn't do anything about it. Everything seemed to be broken, or not useable. There is no ice, only one tiny ice cube tray in the freezer..... we had to go back to the other side of the lake just to get ice after driving 4 hours. There are rats and or mice in the home. We saw them and I spent my nights listening to them gnawing in my room. I contacted the host about this and there was no response. It's a nice location with a lovely little backyard. Very loud noise from road and train but still a nice location. I would not stay here again with all the things going wrong. I've stayed at other places on the East Shore that are much better for a similar price.

From the owner: "I'm sorry to hear you had a bad experience at my home. Most of my renters are happy, and they return year after year. It is a mountain lake house, and sometimes internet and television services will go out temporarily. I have the best internet you could get on the lake, if it goes out at my house it also goes out in all the homes in the area. I've never had a mouse problem and pay for pesticide services.
A country store sells ice and food about 1 mile from my house.
Thank You for your feedback, and I will look into all the concerns you brought up and resolve them."
Our family had such a wonderful time at this cabin. The owners are exceptional hosts and everyone absolutely loved the entire property amenities. I highly recommend

We stayed at this clean, lakefront property for three nights. The host, Eunice, made my family feel very welcome. We had wonderful trip and plan on returning.
