Amazing house, kept us comfortable and entertained all weekend long. Pool was lovely, a little cold as we didn't request to heat it, but on a nicer day, it would've been perfect.Host was easy to reach, helpful and understanding. He was able to walk us through things we needed help with or just did it himself remotely. Dirt road is not as bad as most say it is, most of the drive is quite scenic and nice.

  • Family reunion & Mom's 89th bday

Very spacious and clean. The house and yard are beautiful. I would just recommend staying in close contact with Steve, the property manager BEFORE and during your stay. Evolve definitely responds quickly by email but Steve is more hands-on about property details. Big house, lots and lots of details you'll need to know. The bumpy dirt road that others mention is no joke. So be prepared. Grocery store, restaurants are a bit far, maybe 20+min..? Stocked the fridge/freezer first day -- didn't have to leave for food or drinks. I highly recommend you do the same!Would definitely recommend this place bc it's an entertainment paradise. Pool (paid the fee to heat it and worth it), bbq, patio, pool table, in-ground trampoline. So much to keep our big family entertained and happy!!I would happily return -- and hopefully the complex light switches will be repaired. Again, Steve is great -- stay in touch with him.

  • Gorgeous views for a reasonably priced getaway

Loved this property! We had a small group Come to stay to mainly hang by the pool and getaway from winery crowds and this spot was perfect. The swim up bar was a hit. The house was spotless and more spacious then expected. We would definitely book again, great pricing for the area.

  • Family getaway

Our short vacation here was a nice escape for our family. Although a little more off the beaten path that I had anticipated, once we arrived at the house, it was clean and spacious. The pool and water slide area were the best features of this property as well as the spacious living area. The owner and property manager responded quickly to an issue we had with the refrigerator. The owner remedied the situation in a professional manner with little disruption to our family time.

  • Do Not Plan for Ubers! Unpaved roads!

Yikes, where to start…Well, let's start with the positive. The Host allowed us to enter the property a few hours early to decorate the house for our Bachelorette weekend at no additional cost. And the other positive was the pool was very clean and well kept. And sadly I think those are the only positives I would mention…Now to the bad: The house looks great in pictures but once you walk in, you realize it's not worth the money we paid. For starters, the house is located at the end of a 2 mile dirt road filled with huge unavoidable pot holes and divots. The drive to the house was a wild one. And because of this and being so deep in the rural area, we were not able to get a single Uber all weekend. And the party bus we scheduled couldn't drive on the road so we had to drive our cars down to the highway and leave them there just to get to the bus. Super inconvenient and I wish that was mentions when we booked. When we got into the house the first thing we did was head to the fridge to put our food in. The moment we opened it, we were smacked in the face with a foul fishy smell. The fridge was filthy was blue sticky stuff spilt inside and random food and condiments and a broken drawer. Instead of decorating, we spent our time trying to clean the fridge. We had a cake that we were afraid to put in their because of the smell. It was Awful. Then, we opened the freezer and it was FULL! Melted popsicles, frozen chicken, frozen grapes? There was no room to put our bags of ice. At this point we think someone is currently living here. The house itself was cleaner than the fridge but pretty run down. There were exposed wires everywhere. Noticeable patched up holes in the walls. Clothes in the master closet. The grill outside was broken. The lid almost fell off when we opened it. The lights don't work in half the rooms. There was mold is the coffee machine (no coffee all weekend was dangerous) anddd to finish it off, we found a DEAD MOUSE in a mouse trap in the kitchen… I was so upset that I messaged our Host and explained all the things that were wrong and instead of trying to fix it or refund us the cleaning fee, he told us we were welcome to leave. Overall, it was not a good experience and I regret paying as much as we did to stay here.

    Manager's Response:

Hi Taylor, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they would like to share the following:
    - We do include a map on our listing so that guests can see the approximate location of the home prior to booking, but we apologize that this caught you off guard. The home is one mile down a dirt road.
    - The listing does state that cell service is spotty at the home, but we are sorry that this affected your stay. We encourage guests to thoroughly review the listing before booking, to ensure they find the perfect vacation home for their needs.
    - We do leave condiments in the fridge for guests to use and, occasionally, some other items such as popsicles get left for the next renters.
    - We take cleanliness seriously and hold our team to high standards and apologize for the experience you had with the fridge. These issues have been addressed.
    - We have added some temporary covers to the patches in the walls.
    - There were a few items of clothing hung in the main closet, but there was plenty of room for guests to hang their own clothes.
    - There was absolutely no mold in the coffee machine as it was inspected both before and after your stay.
    - This property is on an active ranch, so critters can be prevalent from time to time.
    - We took your complaints and missed expectations seriously and did everything we could to ensure you had the best stay possible including booking your group at a VIP experience at a local high-end winery.
We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!
