This place has a nice kitchen although we did not need it at all for a two day stay. The rooms were all boiling hot since there’s no AC, the fans helped but not enough for any of us to sleep comfortably. It’s an old house with the basics but definitely doesn’t look as nice as the photos. Main issue: There was a strong sewage smell throughout the house, especially near the fridge and bathrooms, along with some broken tiles covered up by bath rugs. Parking was nice but the alley is directly next to target so many people came to the alley to sit or smoke but was weird. I wouldn’t stay here again. Lots of cool stuff nearby luckily so we were barely there.

Hi Robert, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we apologize if you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
- We use professional photographers so we can be sure that our images accurately reflect the property and guests can decide before booking if the decor meets their expectations. Based on your feedback, we are looking into updating our listing photos.
- The listing does state AC is not offered at this property, but we are sorry if this caught you off guard. We encourage guests to thoroughly review the listing before booking, to ensure they find the perfect vacation home.
- The home also has fans available for guest use and thankfully where the home is located, there is an amazing crosswind, mostly coming from the west, which is where the majority of the windows are located.
- We're sorry about the cracked tiles. We've blocked off time in November to complete the tile repairs. We have also contacted a plumber to investigate the odor you mentioned. We apologize for the inconvenience these issues may have caused during your stay.
Your feedback is important to us, and we appreciate the opportunity to address these concerns. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review!

San Diego being one of the top tourist cities in the world has a plentiful supply of big hotel rentals. Since come every year for work at annual week long ESRI conference, this was a perfect place to rest and walk around a cute funky neighborhood before hitting it the next day.

Was in San Diego for work at annual ESRI Users Conference. Working, talking, walking all day, this was a very nice place to decompress for a bit in a friendly funky local neighborhood.
