  • Excellent Property at Joshua Tree

    5/5

We so enjoyed our stay at this house near Joshua Tree National Park. It was beautifully decorated with lovely desert paintings, very clean, with a fully stocked kitchen, nice bedding and comfortable beds. The fenced backyard was beautiful with cacti gardens and nice places to hang out. The stars at night, amazing. I would highly recommend it for anyone visiting the area. It was a 20-minute drive to the park and close to grocery stores and restaurants. You can take day trips into Palm Springs and other towns if desired. It is on a dirt road, but it is the 3rd property, so you don't have to drive far on it, and it has easy circular driveway so you can drive in and out easily. I would definitely stay here again.

  • It was a perfect location for Joshua tree. The sunrise out the front window was incredible

    5/5

We loved staying at this property. Location was perfect! We were able to spend the whole day at Joshua tree, getting up for the sunrises And relaxing in the late afternoon on the back patio. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again!

  • Charming desert retreat

    5/5

If I could give it 6 stars, I would. This house is charming, very nicely decorated, very spacious. The cacti garden is much bigger than the description depicts, it goes on and on. The outdoor spaces are just lovely. My only regret is that we only stayed for 2 nights, it was so restful and comfortable. The wifi works great. Great place.

  • Delight in the Desert

    5/5

We had a great stay at this home! Nicely decorated and a well stocked kitchen, including a pantry and cupboard with tons of spices! We especially loved the backyard with plenty of different seating options and a lovely cactus garden to walk through. The front yard was nice as well sitting outside in the evening stargazing and enjoying the panoramic view of Joshua Tree. Enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets from the front yard as well. This was our first time to Joshua Tree National Park and enjoyed in immensely. We did not see much wildlife at all in the park itself but saw plenty at this property, including coyotes, rabbits, quail and several other varieties of birds. The mourning doves in particular were very peaceful to listen to and view.We do agree with a previous review about adding instructions for turning on the heat. We had difficulty when we arrived trying to figure it out (but eventually did) and we hand wrote the instructions for how to operate it and left the instructions near the unit itself to help future guests. I also recommend adding a grab bar to the master bathtub (which is very deep and not easy to get in and out of) as it would be helpful for those of us who have physical limitations.A wonderful property and we would stay here again! Thank you for sharing it!
