The best place to "Runaway" to in the Big Bear area!!!
5/5 My husband and I wanted a place to retreat to after a day of hiking! We found the perfect place!!! We especially loved dinners on the private deck as the sun set and the wind blew in the pine trees! And a genously appointed kitchen made this possible!!! Oh and have to mention the beds were uber comfortable!
The owner kindly left some local hike information. We would highly recommend Castle Rock Peak or Cougar Crest for best views! And for the best after hike sandwich... check out the North Shore Cafe!
While the city of Big Bear, the Big Bear Discovery Center and much more is a short drive away... we found ourselves perfectly content spending a couple of days on the north shore in lovely Fawnskin!!!
