Our second visit here. We got all 4 of our grandkids together for the first time! It was very hot but the pool was amazing! Kids and parents all had a wonderful experience. Thanks again to Beth. We can't wait to do it again!
We loved the place. It was spacious and had what we needed to do day trips in the area to Redding and Lassen. Kids loved the pool as summer already arrived by early June. We made the mistake of turning down the road to the winery but the driveway is the next left going west. Definitely recommended as family friendly!

Check in was simple and smooth. The place is very rustic and is on a winery ground in a neighborhood. I couldn’t sleep upstairs because there were no window covering on a patio door.
There was no welcome basket or coffee and no wine? That was shocking being at a winery. The place is super basic with little amenities, older mismatched towels and such.
It did have nice tv. I never was able to enjoy the outside lawn since the winery had a private party going on but it looked nice.
The AC was a bonus since it was really hot.
Hi Donnie, we are happy to hear you enjoyed the rustic log cabin on the Burnsini vineyard grounds, but sorry other aspects fell short of expectations. After sending your feedback to the owner, they would like to share the following:
- Thank you for choosing to stay in our cabin and leaving a review, as guest feedback is vitally important to us and the success of our vacation rental business.
- The door to the balcony is in the corner of the large master suite. We are glad you chose one of the other bedrooms for more privacy.
- While we don't provide a welcome gift basket, you are surrounded by the beauty of our vineyard and many other great amenities, like a fully stocked kitchen, outdoor fire pit, gas BBQ and pool - and plenty of furniture, including a full 8-12 seat dining table, two couches, a couple of club style chairs as well as three beds between two bedrooms. Additionally, you can schedule a private wine tasting.
- New towels are rotated into the inventory constantly. We apologize that you noticed some older towels, but know they are all white.
- The winery has a private lawn area separated from the guest house by a paved walkway. The mentioned event took place between 6-9:30 pm on one of the two nights you stayed. We believe you would have enjoyed our lovely seasonal pool.
We truly go above and beyond for our guests and are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!
Beautiful location and nice spacious log cabin with all the amenities.
