house needs updating
2/5 house was clean but had a smell. House appearance was very dated: the bedspreads, rug and sofa. had small issues with toilet flushing; the host was nice and communicative; replied in a speedy fashion.

We were glad the concern with the toilet was quickly and kindly resolved.

2/5 The property has potential to be really nice. The hardwood floors were beautiful. Everything else though needs improvements. The renovations done to the property were sub par at best. The bathroom floor was terrible. A simple sheet vinyl could fix the issue. The tub and shower were not in the best condition. The amenities at the propwrty were a bit dated but the house was clean so that was a plus. I had to call to find out the access process to the property. I am used to instructions sent via email in advance. The driveway was a little tight. Overall the stay was decent, but with a few upgrades the property could be so much better.

While we do send all of our guests a pre-stay email before their check-in date with all the information you'll need, these do occasionally get lost and we encourage you to reach out to us if you do not have this within a week of your stay. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share that they have started making further improvements to the bathroom.
