• Paint on a broken down unsafe home with poor cleaning

  I wasnt going to leave a review until our problems were settled but the review window will probably close before they settle this.

  We arrived at the property and immediately realized the photos were brightened to make the house look better and hide wall damage. Within 1 hour I had to book another rental for us and we left because we felt so unsafe and the house looked dirty.

  There were exposed wires, what looks like a bullet hole in a door, another door with a punch mark. The front door had a gap like it had been forced. A closet door fell off the tracks when my companion opened it (evolve is trying to blame us!). The fence that they attribute to safety is dilapidated and anyone could get through it. There were multiple faulty switches and lights. To add to it, the neighborhood was scary and loud. We couldn't leave our trucks there which had equipment for fear of theft.

  There was also hair on the shower wall and paint on top of bad sheetrock and a corroded bath faucet. The floors were peeling up and had dirty spots from poor cleaning and were sticky! (Evolve claims they weren't but they were). The fire extinguishers were placed way too high which is completely against fire code. There were also dirty cabinets, unacceptably repaired holes and poorly painted walls.

  In spite of my companions and I taking 50+ photos proving the house was unsuitable, evolve is defending the homeowner. This has been drug out for 17 days now which is completely unacceptable. I'll never deal with this company or hotels.com who advertised the listing ever again.
