Wonderful property. So close to everything in Kenai. Very close to amazing park and trails and the beach! Lisa the owner was so communicative and helpful. There were so many games and puzzles, felt like home. Very clean and inviting. We definitely plan to come back!

Unfortunately, there was not an option for 4.5 stars so I gave it a 5. Be aware there is NO local TV here. Only streaming using your own account. Although we were out most of the time, It would have been nice to wind down after a busy day to watch some local TV. We did get locked out one day and had a little trouble contacting the owner but eventually it did get resolved. The upstairs sleeping arrangements were not meant for an adult. 2 small beds with what appeared to be plastic under the sheets for accidents? It was hot upstairs and the fan was on the same switch as the light so we could not use the fan. All in all a good place in a good location.

This lodge provides a comfortable place to relax and is in a great location just minutes from the Kenai river, grocery stores and restaurants. If you are looking for a quiet getaway that also keeps you close to the local commerce and fishing then this is the place to stay. The owner was very communicative and the check-in and check-out procedures were very straightforward. The lodge is in excellent condition and provides access to anything you need to do during your stay (e.g. cooking, laundry, etc.). I highly recommend the Blind Bear Lodge.
We were looking for a clean, centrally located place to see different towns on the Kenai, and this spot really fit the bill. Go see Homer and Seward, fish in Ninilchik. Drive out and hang on Kenai Beach. Eat at Louie’s. Would definitely stay again. Thanks Lisa!
