I would highly recommend the house and the location for folks that want to get away from it all and have a great secluded place to stay with friends of family. The interior is beautiful, modern and has all the kitchen amenities you need to cook great meals. There is a place to swim and snorkel in the ocean right in front of the house (bring water shoes its a rock shoreline). Just be aware Rum point is ~45- 60min by car from the airport so you will likely need to rent a car or be prepared for expensive taxi ride. There are plenty of public microbuses which are an option, just will take longer. Well worth the drive if you like seclusion!

Location was nice and quiet. The restaurants on Rum Point were the two best out of the 7-8 we ate while on Grand Cayman. The property needs some updating/refreshing for the price being charged. The internet really never worked requiring us to go to Rum Point to get access to even basic email and texts...not a great experience when one needs to stay in touch with family or work. The pool also drained water about 6-10 inches everyday. Again, basic maintenance items that should be taken care of. We alerted the staff to these issues.

Hi Steve, We're happy to hear that overall you had a great Christmas in Rum Point! Both Evolve and the homeowner take the experience of our guests seriously, and we appreciate your feedback. The owner made significant investments to the villa shortly before your stay, and they will take a look at the internet as they continue to make improvements in the coming months. We'd also like to clarify that a small amount of the water in the pool may evaporate during the day, but it doesn't prevent guests from enjoying the pool - a quick top-off each morning and the pool is good to go! We're looking forward to partnering with the owner as they continue to provide 5-star service for our guests, and we'd love to host you again the next time you visit Grand Cayman. Best, the Evolve Team
This property was absolutely beautiful. The location is quiet and secluded, great for a relaxing vacation. The view was breathtaking. We enjoyed the privacy, and Rum point was a short 2 minute drive or walk away for great food/drink and some beach activity if you desire. We also chartered a boat for a fun excursion (to be tourists), and they can pick you up at Rum Point. The reviews are all very accurate, so there were no surprises for us. The home is spacious, clean, and each of the rooms having a private bathroom was great. Outside grill was brand new and all appliances worked. We had a group of 7 adults, and there was plenty of room to gather as a group or enjoy our own space. I would come back with my family or friends.

The property has fantastic views and is very spacious. The property manager and staff were fantastic. I have one complaint......while I realize it’s impossible to keep all trash off of the private beach access because of incoming tides, it needs to be monitored more frequently. The private entrance to the water is littered with plastic bottles (Over 70 of them) which was disappointing considering the cost. We would stay here again.

Hi Patrick, We're so glad that you enjoyed the villa and its fantastic views! The homeowner and their local team strive to provide 5-star stays for each guest that they host, which includes regularly maintaining the private beach. While additional litter from the tides can sometimes be an issue in the winter, we're confident that it won't be a problem for upcoming travelers. Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we can't wait to host you again soon! Best, the Evolve Team
