Fantastic!
5/5 Beautiful remote home in the mountains. One of the nicest homes we've ever stayed in. Very comfortable and clean, with a well supplied kitchen. Plenty of outdoor seating and areas to hike and explore. Beautiful night skies.

Awesome A Frame Cabin
5/5 Great property to visit with amazing views. It was the perfect getaway from the city and slow down in this quiet cabin. Everything you need for the stay they had. Hiking on the 38 acres was great with our dog. Views of wildlife and the mountains are beautiful.

Great getaway
5/5 Loved the quietness, the morning deer and the star filled sky at night. The home was very comfortable,clean and had everything our family could need. The communication was great too
Great mountain home with incredible views
5/5 It was hard to leave a home with such an amazing view of the mountains. Owners thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Several excursions within 30 minutes of this home, but we chose to stay put most of the time. Helpful hints: bring food & beverages with you as grocery shopping is minimal in Guffey; coffee drinkers bring Keurig pods unless you decide to use French press or cappucino maker which will use ground coffee of course; the road to the house is unpaved but easily accessible without 4-wheel drive, although would not recommend a low to ground vehicle.
Enjoyed cool temps and a rain shower in afternoon every day; night skies are incredible if you enjoy astronomy; bird watching great from back porch; a doe nursed her fawn right by the back porch one afternoon; other encounters with nature were fun to watch from porch too.
The Bakery in Guffey has amazing chocolates in a case...try the "Better Than Twix"...also liked their fresh from oven fruit turnovers.
Highly recommend if you truly like to escape and enjoy nature at its best!
