Cabin up north
5/5 We were super pleased with our stay. Getting in was easy (make sure you read the instructions on the lock box!), the property matched the description, it was clean and tidy on arrival, and overall comfortable. We loved being right on the lake and close to family in Woodruff. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect Spot to Escape for a few days
4/5 The place was tidy, the little beach area was perfect for my daughter to swim and play. We loved the deer roaming around and the Eagles were the cherry on top of a short stay.

Just what we needed
4/5 This was the first time we have ever rented from a Vbro/Airbnb or Evolve, so we did not know what to expect. This was a great experience. Hungry lake out the back door provided us lots of fun with fishing, Kayaking and nature watching. Our first night we arrived we watched a mama deer and her very new fawn take cover under the dock as it rained. Through the week we watched the fawn get stronger and braver on their morning walks. We also got to enjoy the loons and eagles from the dock and through the living room window.
For our vacation we did not anticipate being inside much, but the rain had other plans, we moved the card table from the screen building to the main house for puzzles and games, and the big TV with Netflix and other streaming apps made our time here cozy.
We do agree with others that the house could use a little more lighting. It was difficult to put together puzzles, and the bathroom and bedrooms are very dim. Also the bed room with the queen size needed full curtains to block out the early morning light.
Another thing we could not get used to was the strong iron smell from the water. We were happy there was a water purifier in the kitchen.
I can see us coming back here as it was exactly the space and the nature entertainment we need for a relaxing, refreshing vacation.
