    This house is incredible. It is clean, has great space for lots of people (each room has a bathroom except the two downstairs). The bikes and kayak are easily accessible and fun to use. The kitchen has everything you need to cook (accept black pepper) I took the kayak out everyday on the water that is just steps away. It is in a great location, easy to walk to main part of town. We rented golf carts several days that we were there and it is ok to drive the cart to the house.The property manager is not the owner. We had a problem getting into the house when we got there. I emailed Evolve for help and they got back to me 12 HOURS LATER. Thankfully, kind locals knew the housekeeper and we were able to get help from them. DO NOT EXPECT ANY HELP OR VALID COMMUNICATION FROM EVOLVE. I had emailed them during our stay asking some basic questions about the house and they never got back to me. With this property, you do not receive the door access code from VRBO. Instead, Evolve emails them to you WHEN YOU RESERVE YOUR STAY. I had missed the email from Evolve with all access information because we booked months in advance and I am accustomed to receiving access information from VRBO. VERIZON IS THE ONLY CELL CARRIER!!! Your phone will not work unless Verizon is your carrier. Make sure you have all of the door access information before you leave Homer if you do not have Verizon as your carrier. I highly recommend this place to stay, beware of Evolve!

  • A little Piece of Heaven

    This was one of the nicest properties I have ever rented. It was perfectly set up for our family and we enjoyed every minute. The property manager, Melody, was exceptional in her generosity and responsiveness. We enjoyed sunny days - admittedly few and far between in Seldovia - so that added to the magic.

  • Heaven on Earth

    This was one of the very best places I have ever rented! We were able to schedule a reservation at the last minute, and I have never been more impressed with both the setting and the responsiveness of the local customer representative. Melody was above and beyond accommodating.

    We had the most amazing weather, and were able to enjoy everything. Seldovia has to offer, such as the hiking trails and kayaking, and eating outside on the deck overlooking the harbor.

    We will be back!
