  • Great location !

The location was perfect. We stayed 2 weeks and the temperatures ranged from 40 to 77. We were very comfortable with the heating and air conditioning. The kitchen was well appointed. Laundry facilities were much appreciated.

  • Quaint home, well stocked

My husband found this property as we were trying to find a quick weekend getaway to WV. While we had our sights set on a cabin in the woods, we found that they were already all booked up. He stumbled on this listing and we went for it. This house is so quaint. It was way more space than the two of us needed and had so many stocked items we didn't use. I kind of felt guilty hogging up the whole house! The location was perfect for us. We went hiking in the area and driving around sightseeing. The neighborhood is super quiet and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We slept soundly every night.

  • Absolutely Love This House!

We came to New River Gorge for a weekend of climbing, and while the climbing was spectacular, I also found this house a wonderful place to begin and end our day. Everything is comfortable and completely stocked with anything one might need. It was very clean, spacious, and stocked generously with towels, soaps, kitchen essentials (frig, coffee pot (and coffee), microwave, washer, dryer, etc etc.), the tables were set, and even though, we didn't use everything, it was nice to have it all accessible (and to look at). There was even bandaids and other supplies for sore climbing fingers. :) Anyway, I found it so comfortable and welcoming to all who want to be free to really experience the outdoors and feel rested before and after.

This is a place that I would stay in anytime. The location is perfect and close to town (walking distance) and all you come to do outside. Thank You!

The property is right in the middle of the sweetest town. We could walk to everything and still pop in the car for short drive to everything outdoors that you'd ever want to do. The house was stocked with everything which I didn't expect as we came fully prepared but how nice to know you don't have to bring things like soap, salt, etc. We loved sitting out on the front porch and watching the world go by. Also, the property manager (owner?) was gracious enough to allow us to come in early and leave a little later than is written on the description which was a huge help to us so we didn't have to lug around all of our stuff while we were still exploring the area. We would definitely stay there again!
