• Beautiful view!

  We loved the rustic cabin with a beautiful view! Cabin was very clean, the only thing would be to clean those beautiful big windows that show the mountains. We had a problem with the toilet and ran out of water. But when we called, he got someone out that day to take care of it and no other problems after that. It was Labor Day, but someone still came out. Cabin has everything you need to be very comfortable and is very secluded which was so nice.

• Nice cabin get away

  This is a nice cabin in a very quiet area. Phone signal is nearly zero which is perfect for getting away. Location is perfect if you enjoy going on adventures like hiking or whitewater rafting. Only 2 complaints: 1)when we unfolded the hide a bed couch, there were mouse droppings in the bedding, 2) upon arrival, the cistern was only 1/4 full and no water was delivered during our stay but we did manage to conserve and make it but I do feel the cistern should have been full for the booking of 7 people. In all it was a great time had by all.

• Long weekend getaway

  Overall a good experience. No wifi so that can be good or bad. It was good for us. Cabin was clean and bed was comfortable. We have family in the area, so that was convenient for us. The shower handle was broken but useable. It was a peaceful area. Even had a doe visit the property during our stay. We would visit again.

• Nice location

  Cabin is in nice location and had all necessary items for stay. The downside is that during our stay 7, we only had 1/4 of a tank of water for a booking of 7 people so we really had to conserve beyond what we should have had to do but we made it. Other concern was mouse poop on the hideaway bed so perhaps more thorough cleaning before guests check in.

  Hi Brenton, we want our guests to arrive at a vacation home that is 100% ready for their stay, so we take the cleanliness of our properties seriously. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  - The listing does state that guests must conserve water. All cabins in the area are on cisterns for water. Guests are asked to be conservative with water usage & especially beware of letting toilets run; as it can drain the cistern in 24 hours or less and it may be difficult to get water delivery immediately.
  - This water conservation practice is especially important for the hot tub, but we are sorry if this policy caught you off guard. We encourage guests to thoroughly review the listing before booking, to ensure they find the perfect vacation home for their needs.
  - We appreciate your honest feedback as it gives us the means to improve and provide 5-star experiences moving forward. Based on your feedback, we have also had the cabin deeply cleaned since your stay.
  - Thanks for letting us know about the critters you encountered. As you mentioned, this can be common in our rural location but our cleaning team works hard to make sure that the cabin is free of any surprises.
  - As the cabin is located in the woods, mice can be prevalent in the area and occasionally enter if doors are left open. We have ongoing pest control that manages and protects the property from these issues.
  - While we do regret our cabin was not up to your expectations, we are happy to report that no issues were reported by the guests who stayed the following weekend.

• Nice Cabin

  It worked out great for us. We have family in the area, so it was convenient. It is quiet and far enough away from other cabins. The privacy was good. It was really relaxing. Very little access to internet. That can be a good thing or bad thing depending on how you see it. Got photos of a doe down on the hill below us. The bed was really comfortable. The shower handle was broken but usable. As is the case in many cabins in the area, the cabin has a cistern. Water conservation is important. With only 2 people that is not a concern. With a larger group it could be. Overall it was a good experience. I would do it again
